Are You Getting Married in Costa Rica?

If you’re planning a wedding in Costa Rica and are looking for a Protestant, conservative Christian minister to officiate your ceremony, I’d be truly honored to serve you.

You can view my credentials and background here.

Important Note: I am able to officiate only the symbolic and religious portion of your ceremony. For your marriage to be legally recognized in Costa Rica or in your home country, you will need to hire a licensed notary public (abogado/lawyer) authorized by the Costa Rican government to complete the civil union and legal documentation. If you are already legally married, then conducting the religious ceremony should be no problem.

If you’d like, I can recommend a trusted notary public. Please note, though, that I’m only able to officiate the ceremony if a lawyer is present, or if you are already legally married or have submitted the necessary paperwork in your home country. I am primarily available to officiate weddings within a three‑hour distance from San José, though I have also conducted ceremonies in other parts of the country.
