Since 2014, Pastor Joe has served as Associate Pastor at an international English‑speaking church in Costa Rica. In this role, he has overseen various ministries, but his greatest passion is teaching and helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Prior to moving to Costa Rica, he ministered as a church planter, Hispanic ministry director, college minister, and youth minister—bringing with him more than 15 years of ministry experience.

He earned his Master of Divinity from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary (now Gateway Seminary) and thrives in a multicultural, international setting where there is tremendous opportunity to impact lives with the Gospel.

Pastor Joe and his wife, Lizette, are blessed with two children.
